Decades of trust and service

Aurelia Afrikaner
Since its founding in September 1969, Kuhn Paneelkloppers & Insleepdienste has become a fixture in the community of Gobabis.

From father to son, this family-owned auto repair and towing business has grown to serve generations of loyal clients.

Owner Kobus Kuhn, who has led the business for the biggest part of 25 years, reflects on their long-standing relationship with Gobabis residents: “We have come a long way with the community of Gobabis,” he says, highlighting the family's strong ties and commitment to the area.

From its early days, the business quickly built a reputation for quality service, reliability and community support. Initially established by Kobus’s father and later managed by his brother, Kuhn Paneelkloppers has grown into a well-known and respected business.

Today, with Kobus at the helm, the business continues to attract loyal clients who rely on its trusted expertise.

The team at Kuhn Paneelkloppers & Insleepdienste has developed a unique bond through years of working together. Described as a “close-knit group” by Kobus, the staff’s dedication has built lasting trust and a reputation for quality.

“The experience they gain and the experience we have, inspires people every day, thank God,” he notes.

Furthermore, the company is also known for its generosity, particularly their pro bono work repairing police vehicles.

In addition to regular customers, the business provides comprehensive support for insurance clients, handling around 90% of cases for major insurers like Santam and Hollard. They also offer a 24-hour town towing service.

“We also work on many vehicles that come from elsewhere, especially of those who don’t want the wife to know that the car was scratched,” he chuckles.

As he concludes, he offers his thanks to the people of Gobabis: “Thank you for trusting us with your vehicles and the faith you have in our service.”

Kuhn Paneelkloppers & Insleepdienste has become more than just a business. It is a pillar of the Gobabis community, continuing to build its legacy with gratitude, hard work and pride.
