Osona Village recently introduced the Osona Express for commuting purposes between the estate and the capital, offering transport for N$900 per month, N$250 per week or N$55 per day.
Osona Village is located 55 km north of Windhoek and is one of the fastest growing housing developments in the country. There are already close to 1500 households, with over 5 000 residents.
The overwhelming majority of homeowners and tenants work in Windhoek, thus necessitating an efficient public transport system.
There are currently two buses travelling to Windhoek: One which has a drop off point in the Central Business District (CBD) and covers Government Office Park, UNAM, Prosperita and Grove Mall. The second route takes commuters via B1 City, Katutura Central, Khomasdal, and Windhoek West, and includes NUST.
Currently, More than 100 passengers are already making use of this service.
