Editor’s Note
We are thrilled to bring you another Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair (OATF) supplement filled with exciting news of inspiration, pride and hope.
This event remains one of the biggest in Namibia, supporting the economy by availing opportunities to industries to showcase their products and services through exhibitions.
Looking back at last year, hosting the OATF after a brutal pandemic was not an easy task, but this saw the fair attract over 400 local and international exhibitors.
These exhibitors represented a fair number of the active economic sectors in the country - including the informal sector, which contributes significantly to our gross domestic product.
‘Embracing a sustainable economy, linking smart markets’ is the OATF theme for the year 2023. This year, the trade fair aspires to host just over 450 exhibitors from diverse sectors of economy, ranging from corporates, the private sector and informal trading.
At Namibia Media Holdings, we remain committed to supporting the growth of the local economy and the thriving tourism industry.
Keep an eye on our social media platforms from 25 August to 2 September for further updates on the OATF.
Together, we will create an extraordinary platform to showcase the best of our industries and nurture partnerships that will shape the future. Together, we can create a ripple effect of positive change that will resonate far beyond this trade fair.
I therefore encourage you to participate in the OATF. Every dollar collected by the vendors will make a significant difference in the lives of those who are eager to carve their path in the business world.
Cheers!
