JUST IN: The Museum Association of Namibia (MAN) hosted a virtual media launch today, unveiling the plans for the 2024 Namibian Heritage Week, which will take place from16-22 September. The weeklong event will feature a variety of exhibitions, activities, and events across the country, designed to engage and educate the public about the importance of cultural heritage. This year’s theme, “Kultur is Gemeenskap, Gemeenskap is Kulur” (Culture is Community, Community is Culture), emphasizes the interconnectedness of cultural heritage and community life. The official opening ceremony is set for Monday, 16 September 16, at 17:30  at the Windhoek City Museum.
