Uhren von Michael Schumacher unterm Hammer
Genf (dpa) - 30 Jahre nach dem ersten Formel-1-Sieg von Michael Schumacher werden aus seinem Besitz in Genf acht Uhren versteigert. Der Rennfahrer hat Uhren gesammelt und besitzt seltene Stücke, die von den besten Uhrmachern der Welt teils eigens für ihn angefertigt wurden. Die Auktion findet heute in Genf statt. Schumachers Uhrensammlung sei groß und umfangreich, sagte Christie's Uhrenspezialist Alexandre Gouverneyre der Deutschen Presse-Agentur in Genf. „Die Familie denkt, dass diese Stücke in Sammlungen besser aufgehoben sind.“ Andere, die Schumacher oft getragen habe und die für die Familie deshalb mit persönlichen Erinnerungen verbunden seien, blieben in Familienbesitz. Die Uhren in der Auktion seien in Top-Zustand.
