#JustIn: Nida employees’ medical aid benefits suspended - again
Employees and pensioners of the Namibia Industrial Development Agency (Nida) are once again stuck without medical aid because the state-owned enterprise has failed to pay over medical aid contributions to Namibia Health Plan (NHP).
This has been confirmed by NHP.
Only about two months ago, Nida beneficiaries’ benefits were also suspended due to overdue medical aid contributions. Nida eventually managed to scrape the cash together and the benefits were reinstated on 21 April.
Nida’s medical aid benefits have now been suspended for the fifth time in just over a year.
Market Watch would like to hear from beneficiaries and how these suspensions affect them. Your comments will be treated as anonymous.
