#aznamnews: Prepaid-Zähler im März aktualisiert

Die Stadt Windhoek wird ab dem 1. März mit der Aktualisierung aller vorausbezahlten Wasser- und Stromzähler beginnen, um sicherzustellen, dass sie auch nach der Frist 2024 noch funktionieren.

Dies ist das sogenannte "Token Identifier (TID) Rollover"-Projekt.

Die Software aller bestehenden Zähler weltweit läuft am 24. November 2024 aus. Wird sie bis dahin nicht aktualisiert, können die Zähler keine neuen Gutschriften empfangen, so dass die Kunden ohne Wasser oder Strom dastehen könnten.
