Aviation regulator to hold safety workshop
The Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has invited stakeholders to the Namibia Aviation Safety and Security Conference, opening on 29 October.
The conference, themed 'Strengthening Namibian aviation: A future built on safety and security', is scheduled to take place from 29 to 31 October. This two-and-a-half-day event will feature expert presentations, insightful panel discussions and valuable networking opportunities. The focus will be on enhancing aviation safety and security, with collaborative discussions on strategies to strengthen these critical
areas within Namibia’s aviation sector.
"There are also two exciting competitions: One for aviation professionals, offering them the opportunity to submit well-researched papers on initiatives related to aviation safety and security, and another for youth, featuring a graphic, drawing and media interactive competition. The competition deadline is 25 October, and winners will be announced at the Namibia Aviation Safety and Security Conference on 31 October," the NCAA said in a statement.
