Jan Möhr Secondary School learners visit career fair
A career fair offers a platform for students, recent graduates and job seekers to gain insight about jobs and careers from professionals, recruiters, HR representatives, industry professionals, graduate schools, educational institutions, career services and entrepreneurs.
AS and grade 11 learners from Jan Möhr Secondary School attended the NUST Career Fair on 17 and 18 April.
Learners got the chance to network with industry professionals, recruiters and alumni, which opened doors to mentorship, career guidance and potential job opportunities.
The goal of interacting with career experts is to better understand the expectations and requirements of the different job sectors. This can enable learners to make well-informed decisions about their future.
Now, it is up to the learners to make a decision about their future and work towards it. “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams,” as Eleanor Roosevelt, a former first lady of the United States of America, said.
