Ministry to release national exam results on 14 January

Event will be livestreamed
The NSSCO and NSSCAS results will be announced on Tuesday, 14 January by education minister Anna Nghipondoka.

The Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) and Advanced Subsidiary Levels (NSSCAS) results will be released on Tuesday, 14 January. The announcement was made by the MInistry of Education, Arts and Culture last week.



In a media release issued by the education ministry on 18 December 2024, it was announced that Minister Ester Anna Nghipondoka will officially announce the results on Tuesday, 14 January at the auditorium of the Government Office Park.



In an interview with NBC, the Executive Director of education ministry, Sanet Steenkamp, said that the ministry aims to release fair and accurate results to the nation. “The aim is to ensure that we offer genuine and credible results to the Namibian nation,” said Steenkamp. She added that parents and part-time as well as full-time candidates prepare themselves well for the release of the results.



During the release of the results, the top 10 performing schools and top 10 performing learners, along with their results will be announced. The top performing regions will also be announced as well as the statistics for the different subjects written during the national examinations. The Executive Director also added that the Ministry did not face any difficulties during the marking process of the exam papers.
