Miss Coastal beauty pageant uplifts spirits
On Thursday 5 September the Coastal High School hall was transformed into a realm of elegance and sophistication for the Miss Coastal event. The event commenced at 16:30, inviting guests into an evening filled with music, laughter, and heartwarming talent. This captivating evening celebrated the beauty, talent and community spirit of seven stunning models.
Throughout the evening, a diverse array of local performers took center stage, each act adding their unique flavour to the event. The school choir’s enchanting harmonies filled the hall, while local dance groups showcased their energetic routines, infusing the atmosphere with a vibrant rhythm.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the performance by the renowned Swakopmund band, Honde Met Vuil Maniere. Their infectious energy and foot-tapping beats had the audience dancing and singing along, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
