School relay championship:
On 11 March, Karibib Private School (KPS) travelled to Rehoboth with six relay teams to participate in a relay championship. The teams, consisting of both boys and girls, were accompanied by Mr Feris, sport organiser of KPS. All teams, who participated in the under-15, under-17 and under-19 age groups, managed to win medals – a total of 24 medals ranging from gold to bronze.
Science fair:
During the internal and national science fair held in 2023, our learners did exceptionally well.
On a national level, Eben Mbako in grade nine was the overall silver medal winner of the fair.
30th birthday celebration:
On 28 April, KPS celebrated her 30th birthday with a march through town and various sport activities including soccer, netball and volleyball. The day started with a historical background speech and handing out of cupcakes in the school hall. Class groups and individuals presented songs, poems and plays.
