In a speech read on her behalf by her deputy, Jenelly Matundu, international relations minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said: “We rely on our principals and teachers, who are at the forefront of nation-building, to continue to inspire our children, the gems and future of the nation, to become worthy citizens of our beloved country.”

Nandi-Ndaitwah said a hundred years ago, very few thought that the school would survive under such oppressive conditions, but it has stood the test of time.
