In celebration of artistic prowess, the College of the Arts (COTA) department of art and design invites the public to witness stunning artworks created by 2023's talented students.
The ArtSplash exhibition, launched on 1 December last year, has received broad support, and can be viewed until 29 February.
Located at the Katutura Community Art Centre campus, the COTA exhibition showcases a diverse array of creative expressions, including photographs, digital artworks, mixed-media creations, paintings, sculptures, fashion designs and more. Each student has infused their unique signature into their masterpieces, resulting in a visually captivating display.
Prospective art enthusiasts are not only encouraged to appreciate the exhibited artworks but also to consider a transformative journey by enrolling in accredited art diploma courses. The College of the Arts offers full-time, three-year diploma courses in fashion design, new media, and visual art, welcoming grades 11 and 12 graduates to embark on a creative education.
Application requirements
Prospective first-year applicants need to submit a copy of their grade 11 or 12 results with a minimum of 17 points and an E-symbol in English. Those not meeting this criterion but aged 23 or older must provide an art portfolio showcasing three years of active involvement in the arts industry.
