Pursuing an entrepreneurial career in finance
Seven years in the industry
Tulikwafeleni Namibia offers a wide range of services, including debt collection.
Tulikwafeleni Namibia CEO Rehabeam Nalitye recognised what he calls a unique and valuable opportunity in Namibia. His goal is to build a business that aligns with his passions and objectives. Thus far, he has accumulated seven years of experience in the finance industry.
Tulikwafeleni Namibia offers a wide range of services, including financial services, debt collection and real estate. While working in and building a career in the finance industry, the founder has managed to enhance and better his skills in the field. This includes having a primary focus on investments, lending and debt collection and recovery.
Education
Nalitye holds an honours degree in finance management from the International University of Management (IUM), a certificate in investment analysis and portfolio management from the University of South Africa (Unisa) as well as a professional certificate in the fundamentals of South African financial markets from the University of Cape Town (UCT).
He said debt collection involves the process of recovering unpaid debts from debtors or borrowers. This process includes initial consultation, sending a letter of demand, filing summons and judgment, and executing the collection efforts. Due to the difference in circumstances, debtors may include individuals or businesses.
Business operations
Currently, the business operates with three full-time employees and three interns. Motivation to continue the business for Nalitye comes from the sense of accomplishment he gets from delivering successful results. This drives him to continually strive for improvement. Additionally, the customer satisfaction serves as a strong motivation for him to keep pushing forward.
Due to its focus on providing customised services, Tulikwafeleni Namibia aims to deliver efficient and effective solutions promptly to individuals and businesses of all sizes.
In its current operations and in future, the company aims to be partner with local authorities to offer debt-collection services. “Local authorities play a critical role in providing essential services to residents, and ensuring the timely payment of accounts is crucial for the success of their capital projects. We are also open to partnerships with other companies and individuals,” Nalitye said.
