Build an outdoor music wall with recycled material
Before you get started:
-To find inspiration for your wall, use the internet to browse videos on YouTube which should help you take the first steps on getting started
Ideas for the wall:
-If you don’t have any other material, an existing wire fence or palisade fence could be used as a makeshift wall
-Timber or timber posts can be purchased if you are daring enough and would like to build your own structure
-Wooden pallets are usually readily available and can also be used for as a more cost-effective option for a wall
Tools/materials needed:
-Bolts, screws or hooks are needed to hang the various items
-Depending on the structure you build, you may also need instruments such as a saw, drill, measuring tape and spirit level
-Paint or spray paint can be used for the PVC pipes or for decorating your wall
Suggested items that can be used:
-PVC pipes in various shapes and sizes
-Old pots or pans
-Plastic buckets
-Empty tins
-Plastic/metal bowls
-Wooden spoons that can be used as drumsticks
-A shower caddy can be used for storing “drumsticks”

-Parts from your children’s broken musical instruments
