Donation of school furniture increases morale

Julienne Van Rooyen
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiative and efforts to help relieve certain duties of government, Kalahari Holdings donated 650 desks and 650 chairs to the Tobias Hainyeko Project School in Katima Mulilo.

Since the school was established in 2018, learners have had to carry chairs from their homes to school, thus this donation is set to have a positive impact on teaching and learning at the school.

The new school furniture which was assembled by the Zambezi Vocational Training Centre, was handed over to the school management by Mr Ephraim Nekongo, a director of Kalahari Holdings.

The school principal welcomed the donation and thanked all stakeholders who played a part in making their dream a reality.
