96 Verdächtige Personen werden verhaftet

Windhoek (Nampa/cr) - Die namibische Polizei (Nampol) hat im vergangenen Februar 96 Personen aufgrund von Drogendelikten verhaftet. Das gab die Polizei in dieser Woche schriftlich bekannt. Unter den Verdächtigen befinden sich 91 namibische Staatsbürger und jeweils ein Staatsbürger aus Kongo, Burundi, Deutschland, Mali und Mosambik. Laut Nampol-Pressesprecherin, Vizekommissarin Kauna Shikwambi, betrug die Anzahl der in diesem Zeitraum beschlagnahmten Drogen und illegaler Substanzen knapp 219 Kilogramm Cannabis im Wert von 2 189 830 Namibia-Dollar sowie 105 Mandrax-Tabletten im Wert von knapp 12 600 N$, 102 Gramm Kokain im Wert von 51 000 N$ sowie auch 114 Päckchen Crack-Kokain im Wert von 11 400 N$.
