Geistliche Ratsmitglieder
Windhoek - Der allererste gemeinsame Rat der drei evangelisch-lutherischen Kirchen Namibias (United Church Council - Namibia Evangelical Lutheran Churches, UCC - NELC) besteht aus folgenden 15 Mitgliedern. Sie wurden am vergangenen Sonntag in Windhoek in ihr Amt eingeführt (AZ-Bericht, 23. April 2007): Vorsitzender - Bischof Dr. Thomas Shivute (ELCIN), Vize-Vorsitzender - Bischof Erich Hertel (ELKIN/DELK), Exekutivsekretärin - Dr. Beate Voigts (ELKIN/DELK), Schatzmeister - Leonard Vries (ELCRN).
Die weiteren Mitglieder aus der ELCIN sind Bischof Johannes Sindano, Pastor Eliakim Shaanika, Pastorin Maria Amukaku, Festus Hauuanga und Nangula Amaambo. Aus der ELCRN sind vertreten: Bischof Dr. Zephania Kameeta, Pastor Petrus van Zyl, Auguste Eises und Erna Ruiters. Aus der ELKIN (DELK) sind des Weiteren Heidrun Seeger und Robert Grant vertreten.
