Windhoek - Der 20-jährige Deutschsprachige Hans Jörg Roth ist am Samstag vormittag in einem Verkehrsunfall in Windhoek getötet worden.

Wie die Polizei gestern meldete, soll der junge Ingenieursstudent auf seinem Motorrad von einem Lastwagen der Firma Rent-a-Drum überfahren worden sein. Der Unfall ereignete sich an der Kreuzung Mandume Ndemufayo Drive und Auasstraße. Der LKW-Fahrer Alfons Hogobeb (37) wird der fahrlässigen Tötung verdächtigt. Laut Polizeibericht hatte er rechts abbiegen sollen, fuhr aber stattdessen geradeaus und kollidierte mit dem Motorrad.
