Tsumkwe - Spendenaktionen erreichen mitunter auch die Außenbezirke.

Das Computer- und Software-Unternehmen SAP hat letzthin der Schule und der Gemeinschaft von Tsumkwe Lehrmaterial und Sportausrüstung im Werte von N$ 45000 zur Verfügung gestellt.

Zur Überreichung hatte sich die SAP-Regionaldirektorin Margret Bennett eingestellt. Buntstifte, Knete und Malbücher für die Anfangsklassen kamen dabei heraus. Die Sportausrüstung wurde noch am selbigen Tag auf dem Netzball- und Fußballplatz erprobt. "Ein ausgeglichener Lebensstil erstreckt sich weiter als das Arbeitsleben", bemerkte Bennett bei der Übergabe der Ausrüstung. Junge Namibier entlegener Gebiete sollen gezielt mehr schulische und Freizeitförderung erfahren.

Das SAP-System hat sich in der Lohnbuchhaltung im Staat und Privatsektor in Namibia ausgebreitet.
