Thank you
Following the African Trails accident last Wednesday near Usakos, we would like to thank the many people and organisations who gave an incredible amount of help in the crisis. These people and organisations are still involved in this help. The list is long and includes: Namibian Emergency Services, Namibian Police Services, especially Warrant Officer Kefas, Usakos Hospital, Cottage Private Hospital in Swakopmund, Roman Catholic Hospital in Windhoek, Johan and Tinkie from Villa Wiese in Swakopmund who opened their hotel to us, Gap Adventures, Indaba Explorations SA, Farout Booking Agency and Groundrush Adventures in Swakopmund, Nick Cilliers from Windhoek and John from Jodo Tours in Usakos. There were others who helped and we thank them too.
We would also like to thank the officials of the Australian Consular Service whose prompt response and handling of the situation, on behalf of all nationalities involved, was fast and of great assistance. Also a note of thanks goes out to our crew and staff who have dealt with this so well.
