Where Beast and Man are One

Witnessing a non-verbal bond between man and “beast”, is one of the most humbling experiences I – Chloe Durr – have ever had. Living out his dream of working with cheetahs, Göran Lindström, fondly known as the “Cheetah Whisperer”, is the alpha-male of a pack of orphaned and previously injured cheetahs, living a protected life at Bagatelle Game Ranch. Göran displays his love and respect for one of the more feared felines, by hand-rearing and feeding these cats, thus developing an unexpressed relationship of trust, thereby ensuring their conservation. Working in collaboration with the Cheetah Conservation Fund, Göran’s mission to create the best enclosure and natural environment for these wild animals, can only be commended. A trip to the south is not complete without visiting Bagatelle Game Ranch.
