Agra cultivates growth

Agra has announced a N$15 000 sponsorship initiative to the Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) vocational training school, situated in Outapi.

The sponsorship includes funding for tools and equipment that are crucial for the school’s development.

Committed to uplifting communities through education, Agra said it recognised the pivotal role knowledge plays in achieving success across various domains, particularly agriculture.

According to the company, agriculture stands as a cornerstone of the economy, providing essential resources, food and livelihood.

“Agra believes that utilising resources efficiently and cultivating the best from our land is imperative for success, regardless of scale,” it said.

The company’s commitment to community welfare and education has led to the initiation of a partnership with DAPP.

DAPP is dedicated to providing nationwide education in agriculture, with a specific focus on courses in horticulture and crop husbandry.

“Agra is proud to contribute both monetary support and practical assistance.”

Adding to its commitment to education and community development, Agra ProVision stands as a testament to the company's value of being ‘rooted in our people’.

Established with a vision to empower the agriculture sector for sustainable growth, Agra ProVision is dedicated to supplying and transferring industry knowledge and expertise.

An expert team covers all relevant processes for successful business development, farming and production management, the company said.

Clients benefit from mentorship, training and capacity development programmes designed to enhance their skills and knowledge, contributing to the overall improvement of productivity and business success, it added.
