Coetzee wins Munga Grit solo race
Namibian mountain biker Drikus Coetzee had a great weekend as he finished the Munga Grit 500 solo race in 21 hours, 47 minutes in South Africa, in a new record time.
After the race, the Namibian said that he had to work extra hard to win.
"I had to work hard for this one as I had some navigation mishaps. Self-navigating races keep things interesting. My shifter broke before the race, so I was riding locked out with no dual suspension on some rough terrain. I had great fun and yet another awesome experience," he said.
