Girls & Goals shows fighting spirit

Girls & Goals coach Ronnie Hoxobeb says his players have been impressive this season after beating Arrows Ladies 2-1 on Saturday.

"We have really done our best this season, even if Tura Magic went away with title. I am proud of how the players have responded to instructions and the fighting spirit.

"Yes, we have had a few injury problems, but I believe the players have pushed on," Hoxobeb noted.

Girls & Goals is one of the clubs that has a proper academy structure.

They have, however, not been able to keep up with the pace Tura Magic has set this season.

Arrows Ladies coach Salomon Nakale, on the other hand, said he was proud with the way his club has been transformed.

"I think the season has not been really bad for us because we have gone beyond expectations. This team will fight back next season and for the remainder of this one.

"I have to say the girls have given their all and I couldn't be prouder," he said.
