Gobabis produces excellent races

The fourth round of the National Motocross Championships was concluded at Gobabis on Saturday with an action-packed programme on a fast track.

Mark Sternagel and Don-Ray Botha once again showcased their talent.

Mason Meyer, Oliver Mathews, Connor Bouwer, Juan de Vos, Gino Meyer, Zoe Waldschmidt, Sigi Pack and Sternagel won their respective classes, while Sternagel also earned first place in the King of the Dirt (KOD) race, the last event of the day.



Results

50cc junior: 1 Mason Meyer.

50cc senior: 1 Oliver Mathews, 2 Carter Bouwer, 3 Markus Pack.

65cc: 1 Connor Bouwer, 2 Patrick Geiger, 3 Felix Wittreich.

85cc: 1 Juan de Vos, 2 Marco Lindemeier, 3 Leander Metzger.

125cc junior: 1 Jarno Metzger, 2 Giro Friederich, 3 Juan de Vos.

Clubmans: 1 Gino Meyer, 2 Iwan de Vos, 3 Lourens du Plessis.

Women: 1 Zoe Waldschmidt, 2 Ronka Friederich, 3 Aneke Lee.

Veterans: 1 Sigi Pack, 2 Olaf Pack, 3 Gerhard Simon.
