Second division football club Young Brave FC’s kit has been reported stolen.
The kit was reported missing from their camping house at Ehenye in Oshakati.
The team that plays in the northern second division allegedly lost a whole bag of jerseys and trousers after “a young boy” team member forgot to carry the bag.
Team coach Eden Kambalala confirmed the incident with Sport Wrap.
“I can confirm that our playing kit has gone missing after a young boy left the bag unattended during camp in Oshakati.
"We appeal to the public or anyone who has information to contact us or the nearest police station," Eden said.
The team also confirmed that they have opened a case with the Namibian Police at Oshakati.
The kit is white with red stripes. The words Ondangwa Town Council appears in the front, while the club name Young Braves is written at the back.
“Young Braves will offer N$1 000 to anyone with information or who happens to bring the kit back to us,” Eden said.
