#JustIn: SBN Holdings’ chief resigns
Mercia Geises, the chief executive of locally-listed SBN Holdings, has resigned.
Geises wants to “pursue other personal and professional interests”, SBN Holdings said in a statement. She has been with the group for seven years.
Geises’ resignation will become effective on 1 August 2023, providing sufficient time for an effective handing over of responsibilities to avoid disruption to the running of the business and customer service, the group said.
The board will commence the process of appointing a successor to Geises, it added.
SBN Holdings, with Standard Bank Namibia as its flagship brand, is listed on the Local Index of the Namibian Stock Exchange. It share price closed at N$8.45 this afternoon.
